Hamyzfear is still going strong despite not being very active for the last year. So far, for the whole of last year, Adzam was unable to take part in Hamyzfear due to family commitments. But the remaining 4 kept Hamyzfear alive and kicking, with somewhat frequent jamming with only Zaedi on guitars. At the same time Drummer Benji is currently in the States persuing his studies, and returning occasionally to jam. 2003 will be more active with the return of Benji and Adzam.

New sound files have also been put up in the songs section. These will continue to add up ass soon as more songs are played.

Founders Adzam-Benji-Hamzah-Haniff-Zaedi have announced that the group will be disbanding - the guitarist/born- metallist has been diagnosed with "Marinered-Fingerotaphy", an injury that caused severe finger needs to play the slow part of "Rime Of The Ancient Mariner" over and over again. The severe nerve damage left him unable to play German Metal for some time. Catastrophe also struck the drummer, Benji, suffering from the mental disorder "Schizophrenic-Portnoytaphy", a severe damage to his inner-self making him having split-personality of Mike Portnoy, drummer from Dream Theater. Their last concert was a disaster when Benji refuses to play the drums, which leaves the group to play the unplugged versions from their album. Commenting on the press on why the sudden unplugged live, replied in Benji's words:

" Was it my fault?? I've already made a huge sacrifice by leaving Dream Theater for HamyzFear. I need to explore other areas in music business where I might make a contribution playing other instruments, example in Canto pubs".

These unfortunate incidents also affected the vocalist, Haniff, when he tried to kill himself by swallowing a giant microphone from Boon's Studios in US**. But still, with the help of metal theraphy, the guys hope to play again.

Adzam announced that he will be taking a long break from Hamyzfear due to his recent death of his father, and to also prepare for his marriage in April. He will be back with Hamyzfear at an undisclosed time. Meanwhile the remaining members of Hamyzfear will continue on the glory of powermetal, With the next jam covering songs by Riot and the legendary Iron Maiden, they are ready to set Ah Boon Studios on fire again!
